Works like The Three-Body Problem by Liu Cixin have highlighted the genre’s potential to bridge cultural and linguistic divides, showcasing the imaginative depth and philosophical inquiries central to Chinese science fiction. This volume seeks to explore how translation and dissemination shape the global understanding and appreciation of Chinese science fiction.
We invite scholars, translators, and practitioners to contribute to this volume, which aims to provide a comprehensive examination of the translation, adaptation, and cultural reception of Chinese science fiction.
