Convegno internazionale: China and the West on the Silk Roads: Perceptions of the Other and Encounters from the Warring States to Missionary Period, Palazzo Corigliano, Sala Conferenze, 4 dicembre 2023.
Through a series of interventions centred on the period between the 4th century B.C. and the missionary presence in China, the Workshop intends to show the importance of the perception of otherness (under the linguistic, cultural and religious aspect) in the historical process of the formation of direct and indirect contacts between the Chinese world, Central Asia and the West.
