Il documentario, realizzato dall'Università degli Studi di Torino in collaborazione con l'Istituto Confucio, è stato presentato a novembre 2020 nell’ambito della notte europea dei Ricercatori e delle Ricercatrici
|
Cinesi in Italia è un lavoro di ricognizione della presenza cinese nel nostro paese. Il lavoro è stato possibile grazie alla a collaborazione attiva della chat sino-italiana “Dialogo” e vuole essere un punto di partenza che stimoli allo studio e alla ricerca; l’amplissimo materiale documentario raccolto verrà messo a disposizione degli studiosi da parte dell’Istituto Confucio.

La VI edizione delle Giornate di studio sulla linguistica cinese promosse dall’Associazione Italiana di Linguistica Cinese (AILC) si terrà presso il Dipartimento di Interpretazione e Traduzione dell’Università di Bologna (sede di Forlì) dal 23 al 25 giugno 2021.

Position:
PhD (or Postdoc) scholarship in a Kang Youwei project at KU Leuven, Chinese Studies (Belgium)
|
Scholarship funded by Research Foundation (FWO) – Flanders 4 years PhD (October 2021–September 2025) or 3 years Postdoc (October 2021– September 2024).
|
This scholarship is offered in the context of a research project on the portrayal of Kang Youwei as an “in-between” figure in contemporary Chinese academia (for more details, see “Project” below). We are looking for a PhD (or Postdoc) student in Sinology, Chinese studies, Chinese philosophy, or Chinese intellectual history willing to research current views on Kang Youwei in relation to past, present and future issues in religion, politics, education, philosophy, or history.

Position:
Associate Professorship in the Political Economy of China
University of Oxford China Centre, Canterbury Road, Oxford OX2 6LU
The Oxford School of Global and Area Studies (OSGA), in association with Lady Margaret Hall, seek to appoint an Associate Professor in the Political Economy of China from 1 September 2021. We invite applicants with expertise in China’s Political Economy, the Economy of China, or Chinese Business and Finance.
You will be expected to teach and supervise at the graduate level, contribute to administration and examining, and act as a College Adviser for graduate students. The post will be held in conjunction with a Supernumerary Fellowship (non-stipendiary) at Lady Margaret Hall. You will engage actively in research to contribute through publication to the department’s and University's international reputation for research excellence.
You should have received a doctorate in political economy, economics or a related field (including, for example, development studies, economic sociology, business and management studies or finance and public administration), with specialisation in China, by 1 September 2021. The successful candidate will demonstrate: research achievement at an international level appropriate to the stage of their career; the skills and commitment to contribute effectively to teaching, supervision and academic administration in the School; the ability to relate well to high-calibre students; and good communication, interpersonal, time management and organisational skills.
Appointments to Associate Professorships are confirmed as permanent on successful completion of a review during the first five years. Online International Workshop hosted by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, University of Verona (Italy) and the Research Center on East Asian Civilizations, CRCAO, Paris (France)

Thursday 10 and Friday 11 June 2021
|
Topics of interests include but are not limited to the following:
|
- Notions of popularizing discourse, language simplification, intralingual translation, textual comprehensibility, and the correlated view of language obscurity and opacity, in different textual traditions;
- Investigations on language features, discourse strategies and textual practices related to notions of ‘simple’ language (i.e. simple literary Chinese, popular literary Chinese, plain language, traditional discussions on categories like su 俗, wen 文, ya 雅, qian 淺 etc);
- Practices of language transformation and textual modes of transmission in relation to genre categorization and to the emergence of new genres;
- Agents, networks, media engaged in practices of knowledge transmission and linguistic transformation;
- Digital tools for the investigation of textual transmission and linguistic transformation.
According to the workshop format, papers presentation should be 30 minutes long with 15 minutes for questions and discussions. The language of the workshop is English.
